Today, Jeff Mottle, founder of cgarchitect announced the third edition of architectural visualization competition hosted at www.cgarchitect.com. This is by far, the biggest competition of it’s kind.

Everybody is welcomed to participate (architectural visualization firms, freelancers, students, and amateurs) but only the best 25 make it through the qualification round.

All entries will be judged by “some of the most talented and influential people in CG and Architecture industry, both for their outstanding achievements as well their commitment and dedication to the industry.”

There aren’t any details yet regarding the prices, but judging by the fact that last year’s total prize value was 80296 usd (yes, that’s eighty thousands, two hundred and ninety six usd), I am sure that they will be high enough to convince a lot of people to participate.
However, the main reason to enter this challenge is the amount of exposure you will win. Even if you don’t make it through the qualification rounds, if your work is good enough there is a chance that some people will be interested in contacting you.
If you do make it, all the architectural visualization industry will have it’s eyes on you! You simply can’t win bigger exposure than that!
